Quality & Continuous Improvement Leader
We are seeking An experienced and proactive Quality & Continuous Improvement Leader that will lead, manage, and elevate quality performance across our entire business, from manufacturing and engineering through to sales, installation, and customer-facing showroom operations.
Based at our Willenhall manufacturing facility, the Quality & CI Leader will ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, lead engineering change processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uplift customer experience across all touchpoints. This includes overseeing quality processes in manufacturing, engineering, warehouse operations, field installation teams, and our four public-facing showrooms in the London area.
This is a multi-site leadership role requiring strong communication, process ownership, and frequent travel to London for team meetings, audits, and performance reviews.

What will you be doing?
Quality Management & Compliance
Own and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS) in full alignment with ISO 9001
Lead internal and external audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programmes
Ensure manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain activities meet defined quality standards
Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and process controls across all locations
Manufacturing & Engineering Quality Oversight
Implement testing and inspection protocols for high-end locking and security products
Introduce systems to reduce defects, improve reliability, and support lean manufacturing
Manage engineering change control (ECN/ECO), ensuring changes are validated, documented, and implemented with minimal disruption
Partner with engineering to strengthen design-for-quality and root-cause problem solving
Coordinate cross-functional approvals for product or process changes affecting quality or compliance
Sales, Installation & Customer Experience
Develop service and quality standards for London-based sales and installation teams
Introduce metrics and feedback systems to improve installation quality and customer satisfaction
Support training programmes to ensure best practice and compliance across sales and fitting teams
Showroom Performance & Customer Satisfaction
Establish consistent service standards across all public showrooms
Improve customer journey, in-store experience, and post-purchase satisfaction
Use feedback, complaints data, and survey results to drive operational improvements
Continuous Improvement Leadership
Champion Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies across departments
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity, reduce rework, and optimise workflow
Drive engineering change initiatives that deliver measurable performance improvements
Measure and report business-wide quality KPIs and implement improvement strategies
Act as the central quality link between manufacturing, sales, installations, and showrooms
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor teams across the business in quality best practices
Build strong relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Installation, and Showroom leadership
Facilitate regular quality review meetings across Willenhall and London sites
What experience you will need to be successful:
Essential
Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent)
Significant experience in quality management or continuous improvement within manufacturing, engineering, or consumer products
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS implementation, auditing, and improvement
Experience managing engineering change control processes in a technical or manufacturing environment
Proven success driving improvements across multi-site operations
Strong analytical and statistical analysis capability
Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Ability to manage projects independently and influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication, leadership, and training capability
Willingness to travel regularly to London
Experience working with customer-facing teams (sales, service, or retail environments - desirable not essential)
